Why microinfusion?

Get event ready! Need a glow-up before a big day? Get beautiful, airbrushed skin with a microinfusion facial.

When neurotoxin is delivered superficially into the skin it decreases the size of the pores and smooths the texture of the skin. In doing this, it also reduces sebum and improves acne. For those who suffer from rosacea, superficial neurotoxin can provide some relief.

HA dermal filler has an affinity for water and plumps the skin giving it a more hydrated appearance. Microinfusion offers wonderful regenerative properties and improves texture and tone, stimulates new collagen and elastin production, improves hyperpigmentation, and increases skin radiance. The stamping itself creates micro-injuries, or micro-channels, which then stimulates the body’s natural healing process through inflammation, tissue proliferation, and remodeling.

What is microinfusion?

Instantly refresh your entire face, giving you dramatic results with minimal downtime. Microinfusion facials utilize a stamping device with ultra-fine sterile needles that puncture the epidermis and infuses a specialized cocktail.

FAQ

How long does the procedure take?

From start to finish, your appointment will last 45-60 minutes. Upon arrival, your face will be cleansed, and a topical numbing cream will be applied. Your blood will be drawn and spun in the centrifuge while your skin is numbing. The neurotoxin, hyaluronic acid, and PRP cocktail will be prepared.  During the Microinfusion process, the skin is stamped with the device and the cocktail is infused directly into the epidermis.

Is it painful?

When patients hear that their skin will be stamped with little needles, they think it will be painful but is very easily tolerated with our topical numbing cream and Pro-Nox or laughing can be utilized during treatment as well.

How long is the recovery?

Recovery time is often about 1-3 days.

What results can I expect?

During your treatment pinpoint bleeding may occur (this is the clinical indicator). This usually resolves within a few minutes. You can anticipate having a pink-red face for 1-2 days (though some with sensitive skin may experience this an additional day or two). You may experience mild swelling for 24-48 hours. By a week in, the skin is often glowing and the results are already evident. Bear in mind collagen can take 4-12 weeks to be produced so some results require patience. Microinfusion offers improvements in fine lines/wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, redness, reduces pore size and re-texturizes the face.

Do I need more than one treatment?

This procedure is the perfect treatment before a special occasion/big event because it creates the appearance of beautiful, airbrushed skin. We recommend being treated 3 weeks prior to the big day. For those treating rosacea and acne with Microinfusion therapy, we recommend quarterly to biannual treatments. For the ultimate anti-aging rejuvenation, we recommend annual treatments.

Am I a good candidate?

You may NOT be a candidate for a Microinfusion if any of the following apply: active infection or disease, especially if present on the area being treated; cut or broken skin; sunburn; currently have an active Herpes simplex 1 sore (cold sore); if you are nursing or pregnant; if you have taken Accutane in last 6 months; patients with keloid scars, scleroderma, collagen vascular diseases; a hemorrhagic disorder or hematologic dysfunction.
