Thank you for entrusting your aesthetic & skincare needs to Skin Synthesis Clinic & Spa. We constantly strive to provide the highest quality and most advanced care to all patients. To be consistent with this commitment to excellence, Skin Synthesis utilizes an appointment system that sets aside ample time for each patient. We encourage you to book your appointments far in advance to ensure you have adequate scheduling options with our providers who are in high demand.

Our cancellation, No-show & Late Policies

1. We request that you please provide our office a minimum of 48-hours advance notice in the event that you are unable to keep your appointment, allowing us to offer that time to another patient. You can call our office line at 206-486-4784 or send us a text at 206-752-6397 if you need to cancel an appointment. However, please do not assume your appointment has been cancelled without first receiving confirmation from our office that the cancellation has been received and processed.

2. If you miss an appointment and did not contact us with at least 48 hours prior notice, we will consider this to be a No-Show appointment and a $150.00 fee will be assessed and charged to the credit card on record for the appointment.

3. If you are late for an appointment, we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible, though the office visit may need to be shortened in length or rescheduled. If you are 15 minutes or more late, this will be considered a No-Show.

4. If a patient has 3 No-Shows and/or 3 late cancellations, they will be required to prepay in full for future services at the time of booking appointments. The amount pre-paid is nonrefundable if the No-Show/Cancellation policy is violated.

We respect Skin Synthesis provider’s time as they are booked out weeks to months in advance and have waiting lists. Last minute cancellations do not allow us to fill scheduling gaps. We appreciate your understanding of our clinic policies.

Payments

Skin Synthesis Clinic & Spa is not contracted with any insurance companies. Our fees are strictly out of pocket, due at the time of service. We are unable to provide any supporting documents or engage in any correspondence with insurance companies, such as appeal letters, letters of medical necessity, detailed invoicing with codes and diagnosis, or involvement with worker's compensation.

At the time of booking, we will ask for a credit card to guarantee your appointment. This payment method is stored on file and will be utilized in check-out for contactless payment unless an alternative form of payment is requested by the patient. All credit and debit card transactions are processed through secure and encrypted channels to protect your financial information. We use industry-standard security measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of your payment details.

Accepted Payment Methods: We accept the following forms of payment:

- Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover)

- Debit cards

- Skin Synthesis Gift Cards

No Cash Transactions: We do not accept cash payments for any of our services or products. This policy is in place to enhance the safety and security of both our patients and staff.

Split Payments: To maintain efficiency in our billing processes, we do not accept split payments for services. All payments must be made in full using one of the accepted payment methods.

For any billing inquiries or concerns, please contact our Practice Manager. We are committed to addressing your questions promptly and providing clarification on any billing matters.

Office Visit Policy

Appointments at Skin Synthesis will be subject to a $150 Clinic fee when no treatments/procedures are rendered, but clinic time is allotted to address a patient's medical needs.

Return & Refund Policy

Products: We have a 30-day return policy for all products purchased from Skin Synthesis Clinic & Spa with the exception of: (i) all prescription products; and (ii) and products which are identified as non-refundable at the time of sale or on the product package. A full refund can be issued for unopened refundable products in original packaging, accompanied by a receipt. In the case of a reaction to the product, a credit will be issued for all open products returned in the 30-day period, which can be used toward other skincare products. Please be advised that Latisse and certain facial creams are non-refundable due to their prescription-only status. If you have a question as to whether a given product is non-refundable, please consult with a Skin Synthesis Clinic & Spa staff member.

Services: No refunds or aesthetic credit are given for services rendered. Payments for all procedures are non-refundable and due at the time of service, with no exceptions.

Packages: Packages for treatment series are paid in advance and non-refundable and non-transferable. Packages have an expiration of 1 year from purchase.

Gift Certificates: No refunds on gift certificate purchases.

Children Policy

Skin Synthesis is an oasis, a safe haven, and a retreat for many of our patients. While we love children, we ask that you make sure you have childcare arrangements prior to your appointment. We do not allow children to guarantee their safety and our patients' relaxation.

Pet Policy

We love animals, but ask that you leave your pets at home. If you arrive to an appointment with a pet that is not a service animal, you will be asked to remove the animal from the healthcare facility.
